Graphics Driver Dell \/\/TOP\\\\
Throughout the Internet, you can search for many ways to install and download drivers. However, not everyone is safe enough to be trusted. This post from MiniTool introduces some secure methods for you to install and update Dell Monitor Driver.

In previous versions of Windows, in addition to the graphics card driver, the selected Dell monitor also has a monitor-specific driver. In most cases, the low-resolution problem is the result of a problem with the graphics card driver, not the display driver.
If Dell does not list the graphics card driver for Windows 10 for your system, the graphics card vendor (NVidia, Intel, AMD, etc.) has not provided a driver for Windows 10, or Dell has determined that it is not compatible with the system/graphics card that is not selected.
For Dell Plug and Play monitors, there is no need for a dedicated Windows 10 driver for the monitor connected to the system. The Windows 10 operating system will automatically read the display's extended display identification data (EDID).
After that, you can choose Search automatically for updated driver software option, and Windows will search your computer and the Internet for the latest driver software for your device. If there is a newer update, Windows Device Manager will download and install the newer driver to your Windows 10 computer.
Step 3. Expand the Monitor and Display dialog box. Then click download. After the download is complete, double-click the downloaded .exe file, and then follow the instructions on the screen to install the driver on your computer.
With the Photoshop 23.0 release, you can run the graphics processor compatibility check to ensure your GPU is compatible. To do so, go to Help > GPU Compatibility and see the report dialog that opens.
If your system has more than one graphics card, ensure that Photoshop has been assigned the High-Performance graphics card rather than Integrated Graphics or Power-Saving graphics card for the best experience. Changing these settings on laptops will increase battery usage.
If the above step does not resolve issues when using more than one graphics card, consider disabling one of the graphics cards. Before disabling the onboard graphics card, please ensure you have the video output of your monitor connected to the dedicated graphics card.
To disable a graphics card, use the Device Manager on Windows. In the Device Manager, right-click the card's name and choose Disable.
Adobe Camera Raw uses a graphics processor differently than Photoshop. If you experience crashes, performance issues, or incorrectly-rendered windows or objects, redraw issues or artifacts, specifically when opening files in Adobe Camera Raw.
I have a dell precision M2800 in which a builtin AMD Firepro W4170m Graphic Card is installed, since I bought this machine I was never able to install the driver for this graphics because every time I tried to install the driver, the process is freezes after some time and then I was not able to operate the laptop. I tried every method listed on different platforms on the web but no one worked. After many tries, I have found a solution that an older version of the driver is working for the graphic card but with that driver, you won't be able to access the full functionality of your graphic card, I think I have installed a 2010 driver which was not fully supportable and compatible with windows 10.
Yesterday, I have installed the Windows 11 operating system in the hope that maybe Microsoft and AMD fixed the problem and now the latest driver will work for me but no luck! My laptop is again stuck during the installation of the AMD driver. I must mention that I tried all the methods which are available on the internet but no method worked for me. Now I am worried that how I will fix this issue because I am using my laptop for graphics and editing work and without a proper driver, I would not be able to utilize the functionality of the AMD graphic card. Therefore, I need your support if anyone can help me to resolve this issue.
Thank you so much for your response, but I have different issue, I can go to the desktop and can operate my laptop normally, but whenever I try to install the driver of AMD graphic card , it freezes my computer.
If you have a Dell Laptop for the AMD driver to work correctly you must have the latest Intel Graphics driver installed plus the latest CHIPSET and BIOS installed: -us/product-support/product/precision-m2800-workstation/drivers
If the above keeps freezing then it might not be compatible with some hardware in your Laptop so try downloading a previous AMD Driver from here and see if it start working normally: -drivers/professional-graphics/mobile-platforms/firepro-mobil...
Hi!So solutions above did't work for me and i found another!Big thanks for he guys who dig in it before.Step 1: Go to - -Mobile-Workstations/No-decent-GPU-driver-available-for-M280... and download Nov-2017 driverStep 2: Go to your device manager and find PCI express root control (well for me it was like that) and update it with file from step 1 as usual. Reboot and PCI Bus must replace PCI express root control(google search tells us that's same thing but PCI Bus is driver from AMD rather microsoft one)Step 3: update your W4170MMine is 27.20.21026.2006 now rather 15. from dell
DO NOT use the steps referenced below to install Windows DCH drivers, as doing so bypasses the Intel installer designed to install these new drivers, thereby possibly resulting in minor to catastrophic issues on your system and system instability.
We supply generic versions of graphics drivers for general purposes. Computer manufacturers might have changed the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the graphics driver software or software packaging. To avoid potential installation incompatibilities, we recommend that you check first with your computer manufacturer and use the driver software provided by them.
New to Linux/UBUNTU but expert in Windows/programming.Evidently my Device/Display options are very limited, when I connect a projector the second display can use only a low resolution, much below the projectors capability. I tried to check for the video driver and I got error messages:
The second best option is using the mini display port output which is connected directly to the integrated graphics card. There are plenty of HDMI adaptors that are dirty cheap (if that's what you need).
If you could not find the exact driver for your hardware device or you aren't sure which driver is right one, we have a program that will detect your hardware specifications and identify the correct driver for your needs. Please click here to download.

In reference to this scenario, it is important to mention, as in this case, that we always recommend to install the graphics driver provided by the manufacturer of the computer, since that driver was customized by them to work with your specific platform. Graphics driver version 184.108.40.20664, provided by Dell, should be the proper driver for your system:
Since the problem persists when using Dell's graphics driver version, even though the Intel graphics drivers are generic, for testing purposes try a clean installation of our latest driver version 220.127.116.1190 following the instructions in the links below:
i have a Dell 7559 laptop with a 960M GTX Nvidia card, core i7-6700 and 6GB of RAM. EVERY-single-time the Nvidia driver gets installed i get BSOD DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. this is whether it installs through Microsoft windows update, whether i install it manually, whether i install it before the other drivers, or after, or in any order. using windows 11 or 10, or using the Dell official recovery software. whether i reformat the drive or fully clean it. as soon as the Nvidia driver starts installing, my computer gives the BSOD blue-screen and then will no longer boot up whatsoever. ive tried startup repair, uninstalling feature or service pack updates, restoring, etc. the only way to get it to boot even a little is to either completely reset the pc, reformat the hard drive, or boot into safe mode .. ive tried getting this computer going with different hardware even to see if there is a difference, nothing makes a difference (ive tried different RAM, m.2, sata III harddrive, etc) ... I've also tried different versions of Nvidia driver. ive tried the oldest, the newest , and some in between. no difference. and also i ve tried only installing the driver with no additional components (through custom install, and only check the Nvidia driver)..
But now, i am using a Razer Blade with a GTX 1060 and Intel HD graphics 630 and i7 7700 and 16GB of RAM with an NVME Samsung EVO 970 1TB. And it has also started doing the blue-screen BSOD "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION" ... which make NO SENSE. i always keep drivers updated (both graphics cards), windows updated (windows 11), softwares updated (GeForce, Intel and Razer softwares) ...
