The Adriatic League is a private venture, founded in 2001 and run until 2015 by the Sidro, a Slovenian limited liability company. Since 2015, the league has been operated by ABA League JTD, a Zagreb-based general partnership for organizing sports competitions. Adriatic Basketball Association is the body that organizes the league and is a full member of ULEB, as well as a voting member of Euroleague Basketball's board.

Though the competition purported to gather the strongest sides from former Yugoslavia, as mentioned, teams from Serbia were noticeably absent, particularly Belgrade powerhouses and biggest regional crowd draws Partizan and Crvena zvezda. In addition to no clubs from Serbia proper, the league had no Serb-dominated clubs from Bosnia-Herzegovina either. Since the league founders mostly avoided talking about the issue due to fears of media backlash, the fact that no invitations were extended to Serbian clubs was generally explained through security issues due to organizers' fears of crowd trouble if Croatian and Serbian clubs were to start playing again in the same competition. Then in early February 2002, the public got a preview of just that when Cibona and Partizan met in Zagreb as part of that season's EuroLeague group stage. In a nationalistically charged and incident-filled encounter, Croatian fans peppered the Partizan players with rocks, flares, and even ceramic tiles before physically assaulting Partizan head coach Duško Vujošević in the guest team dressing room after the game.[6]

The Adriatic League debut season was marked by dwindling attendances and lukewarm media support. Still the league did receive a bit of a shot in the arm on 24 February 2002, when its managing body ABA got accepted as full member of ULEB.[7]

Blake wasted no time and did a lot of research in the spring and summer and hosted the first tryouts for the Wolves in September. After finalizing his roster in October, Blake coached his first professional game on Oct. 29 against the Binghamton Bulldogs, the ABA's current top team, and lost 143-85.

Fast forward to today and there are 132 teams across the country in seven regional divisions. The Wolves play in the Northeast Division with 14 other teams, and play once a week on the weekend for a 20-game slate.

All Bats will be inspected by the Umpire(s) prior to play. If a bat has any dents, cracks, writing/paint marks, loose or broken end caps then the bat will be banned from all future USSSA Play. This will be by the sole discretion of the Umpire and/or League Official. However, prior and during all games, the Manager/Team Rep is responsible to make sure that all bats are legal.

(1) All Field Maintenance is done by the Field Owner only! The league and its participants are not authorized to touch any field at any time. If the Umpire, League Office, or Authorized Park Personnel deem a field unplayable, please contact the League Office so that we can move your game and contact the field owner. However, Field Owners do not have Maintenance crews working on fields during the weekend.

(3) *NEW: Extra Inning Rule: If you are playing a double header and the first game is tied at the end of 7 innings, or at the end of the time limit, ONE extra inning will be played. If a winner is not decided after the end of that extra inning, then the game will be recorded as a tie game. Your second game may be cut short due to the extra inning in the first game. This rule change was created in hopes of eliminating some of the tie games we have during regular season.

NOTE: If Motor-Runner has been previously engaged in dialogue: Motor-Runner will not engage in dialogue with the player character after their initial conversation. However, it is still possible to complete the quest by making Motor-Runner hostile, either by attacking him or the nearby dogs/Fiends, and then running to the entrance room of the vault (where Vault 3 Fiend guard is first encountered). Upon holstering their weapon, Motor-Runner will then address the player character directly and inquire about the shipment from the Great Khans. (Killing all Fiends in the area first will make this much easier.) Using the console command "rdf" will reset his dialogue, allowing one to give him the drugs (be careful, this command resets ALL dialogues in the game).

Basketball is a great game that is played by millions of young people in the United States and around the world. Playing basketball fosters the development of peer relationships, self-esteem, leadership qualities, and physical health.

To date, however, the sport of basketball has lacked guidelines around health and wellness and consistent game play standards. To help foster player health, age- and stage-appropriate skill development, and a positive and enjoyable on-court experience for young people, the NBA and USA Basketball have developed a set of rules and standards to enhance the playing experience for young athletes.

The NBA and USA Basketball are committed to helping shape a youth basketball environment that prioritizes the health and well-being of young athletes and promotes their enjoyment and development in the game.

These are important questions, and we understand that playing with the correct equipment and establishing age-appropriate rules significantly impacts the experience for youth as they learn the game. Therefore, the NBA and USA Basketball have established detailed guidelines to help young players develop at a natural pace that is suitable to their age and physiological abilities.

USA Basketball and the NBA have worked closely with an expert working group on Playing Standards to develop age- and stage-appropriate rules and standards for youth basketball. Aligning with the Player Segmentation Model, these guidelines will help young players appropriately learn the fundamentals of the game, achieve and maintain early success, and provide enhanced long-term development.

Start of Game Possession: For 7-8 and 9-11 year-olds, a coin flip will determine the team that will start with the ball to mitigate significant differences in height and coordination among children. Alternating possession rules will then ensue throughout the game.

Playing Time: To ensure that all young children participating in the sport have an opportunity to experience the game, equal and fair playing time is recommended for 7-8 year-olds. For 9-11 year-olds, equal playing time is recommended for periods 1-3, while allowing coaches discretion in the fourth and extra periods. Equal and fair playing time is encouraged throughout all segments.

Pressing Defense: Pressing defense is prohibited for 7-8 year-olds to help children develop principles of movement with and without the ball in a half-court setting. For 9-11 year-olds, permitting player-to-player defense to extend full-court in the fourth and extra periods allows players to become accustomed to full-court defense while not having to understand sophisticated zone presses. It also allows for an introduction to competitive tactics.

Backcourt Timeline: Not having a timeline violation for 7-8 year-olds allows coaches to communicate to players before they reach half court. This assists coaches in teaching children, particularly for those first learning the game. The progression to 10 seconds for 9-11 and 12-14 year-olds, and later to eight seconds for Grades 9-12, allows the game to flow while developing skills such as ball-handling, passing and decision-making.

Clock Stoppage: Stopping the clock following a made basket within the last two minutes of the fourth period and any extra periods for 12-14 year-olds and 9th-12th graders allows for additional strategic decision-making. Fewer clock stoppages for 7-8 and 9-11 year-olds allows for a better game flow.

Shot Clock: The 30-second shot clock for 12-14 year-olds, along with the 24-second shot clock for 9th-12th graders, allows for more possessions for each team, better game flow and places decision-making elements in the hands of players.

The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market. Fourth-ranked Slovenian Cedevita Ol. (15-7) was very close to win a game against first ranked Serbian Partizan (20-2) in Beograd on Sunday. Partizan managed to secure only three-point victory 76-73. However their...... 041b061a72
